The Valley Camp (2 days)
Departs from: Waitohi Downs.
Overview
Our two day trio takes us around the track to influx of Mandamus River into Hurunui River. We cross Hurunui River and ride up the Mandamus River to the road. Travel post Glens of Tekoa Homestead to Island Hills Station. We ride over saddle to Glencoe River, passing deer fenced paddocks where deer can be seen. On reaching the Mandamus River once more we follow up the East Bank crossing for our last time before arriving at Organ Stream where we spend the night in Valley Camp Hut.
The next day we retrace our tracks at Waitohi Downs approximately 4.00 p.m.
