2 Day Trip - The Valley Camp

Our two day trip takes us around the track to the influx of the Mandamus River into the Hurunui River. We cross the Hurunui River and ride up Mandamus River to the road. Travel past Glens of Tekoa Homestead to Island Hills Station. We ride over the saddle to Glencoe River, passing deer fenced paddocks where deer can be seen. On reaching the Mandamus River once more, we follow up the East Bank crossing for our last time before arriving at Organ Stream where we spend the night in the Valley Camp Hut. The next day we retrace our tracks arriving at Waitohi Down approximately 4.00 p.m.
